#freewrite :: Prompt for Day 1039: microphone

She held the microphone tightly, feeling very shy and timid. She looked at the judges and smiled. There were three judges, each with their own personality, just like her with hers.

"What will you be singing for us my dear?", one of the judges asked, the one with a silky blonde hair. She shrugged and smiled. "What's up?", she replied shyly.

The judges just smiled and asked her to proceed. She stood there, waited for the music to start. The moment it started, her body moved to the rhythm naturally.

When it was her cue to sing, she transformed into a totally different person, belting out her favourite song, "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes and caught the judges by surprise.
