...The thought that an item is not to the exact temperature as one would wish can be compared to individuals who are not as friendly, accommodating, or greeting is not as may have been expected. To experience warmness entails a certain familiarity with another upon encountering them. When that feeling is not immediately expressed or exhibited, it can cause the other party to retreat or feel neglected or hurt in some way. I share a micro story in a format of exactly 100 words. This format was created by @felt.buzz.
For my theme, I was inspired by and utilized the @daily.prompt's publishing of Day 2018 - 5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday - Prompt: much warmer.
Below is my story:
Amanda and Preston courted for one year.
When it came time to sign the marriage contract, they greeted each other with a stoic nod, while their eyes remained averted.
Amanda, cried silently. His greeting could have been much warmer. Is it cold feet? How am I expected to marry this man whose heart is as cold as the winter storm?
However, she didn't know that her father forbade Preston to touch her until marriage.
Preston cursed. Damn! Cold woman I'm binding myself to.
However, he didn't know that his mother threatened to deny the dowry payment if Amanda touched him.
