The prompt for this week "perceive" means how one interprets something or someone's attitude, body language, or spoken word. It's an emotional perception, I believe. I share a micro story in the format of a ZAPFIC50 Monday challenge. This new challenge by @felt-buzz and presented the opportunity to explore the prompt "perceive?".
My story is below:
In the back of the room, Jennifer squinted several times. Decipher the professor's handwriting was impossible.
In the corner, an overhead projector sat idle. What a waste of university funds, she thought, shaking her head vigorously.
Jennifer looked up. The professor's menacing stare temporarily paralyzed her.
After class, he beckoned.
