When I think of the prompt for this week "agent", the term reminds me of a person or group of persons who are willing to speak or take action on someone's behalf who is knowledgeable about the situation. Often people won't seek professional advice until forced to under difficult circumstances. I share a flash fiction story related to the prompt in the format of a ZAPFIC Monday story. This format was created by @felt.buzz and is told in exactly 240 characters.
My story is below:
"Good news and bad!" Monica stared into the phone, waiting.
Marc continued. "The apartment complex documented our vacate notice, but we lost the bid on the home."
Opting not to panic, Monica made two urgent calls, one to a real estate agent.
