RE: A Mother's Advice - ZAPFIC MONDAY (8/28/23) | Prompt: slippery (pendiente resbaladiza)

in Freewriters3 years ago

Hello @deking01. What an awesome interpretation and analysis of my flash fiction. Yes, the word "slippery" can be applied in several directions to different situations. My intention with this prompt was to show that not all situations can be solved with one-liner advice. Sometimes life is more complicated.

What works for one child may not work for another. A different type of tactic has to be used to solve problems. It all depends upon the person and situation whether the advice is a perfect fit.

I try to accommodate my readers by providing a translation. Although the translator mises the mark sometimes, overall it accomplishes allowing my readers an insight into my writings.

It is extremely difficult to construct a concise idea and story in 240 characters. I have been practicing with this type of freewrite for over 3 years. I'm pleased it is now at a point where I feel comfortable telling the stories in this format.

Thanks so much for your visit and kind compliment. I appreciate that you liked my writing style. Thank you for the support. Much appreciated.

Take care and have a good rest of your week.

We have really been captivated by your beautiful prompt as to resolve situations going beyond straightforward solutions.

You are absolutely right, tailoring advice to each individual and situation is very important.

Providing translation shows a good commitment to your readers even if your accuracy varies at times.

Wow! What a special skills you have gotten. Your ability to create a significant and engaging story within the limited space of 240 characters is indeed a special skill and 3 years of your journey shows in your mastery. I am glad you have found comfort in this format.

You are welcome. Thank you, and also Wishing you a blessed week.

I appreciate your lovely compliment and support of my content.

My mother always told me and my siblings that practice makes perfect. Although her one-liner was meant to encourage us in the art of chores if we couldn't do it right the first time. It didn't help with washing dishes manually, which was my assignment.

Wishing you a blessed rest of your week and into the weekend. Take care.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Your mother's wisdom about practice resonates, even if it was about chores. Washing dishes manually can indeed be quite the challenge. 😄 Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and a relaxing weekend. Take care as well!
