Con su corazón rebosante de felicidad por volver a recordar aquellos tiempos adorables, se encontró finalmente con la peor carta que tenía guardada allí. Al comenzar a leerla, su tristeza volvió a su cara ya arrugada, inconsolable y con lágrimas en los ojos, esa carta escrita por el comandante del regimiento donde sirvió su novio le comunicaba que esté había perdido su vida en el frente de batalla.
