I hope your day went smoothly.
I have been absent from this community for a while, not because I wanted to, but because I had to deal with some personal issues, but now I promise to be post more regularly from now on.
So my today post is going to about food π€€
back then elementary school our teacher told us that food is anything that supplies nutrients to the body for our day to day tasks. But food is more than that, It goes deeper . Food is culture, and food is connection.
Allow me to digress
CULTURE : Every dish tell the story /history of the place where it was created the spice, the food combination the cooking method, each one reflects place and history example consider the wonders of the west African soup, and the simmering soup of Europe π. These soup is not all about fuel, they are about and and identity so when you take in this delicacies you take part in legacy.
CONNECTION : food also brings people of ethnicity together and this connection can be in different ways it can be a neighborhood bringing over something, it could be a dinner, food connects us to each other strengthening our love each other.
So food in more than just something we eat its part of who we are.
