Corruption has become the poison that suffocates the spirit of advancement. It creeps like a quiet burglar in the night, taking what belongs to the many and giving it to the few, from the smallest local office to the highest seat of power. Promises are made and never fulfilled. Contracts are awarded based on relationships rather than performance. The average guy suffers the price, with substandard healthcare, decaying schools, and shattered hopes.
The system is corrupted, and individuals who dare to speak out are silenced, intimidated, or ignored. People lose trust not just in leaders, but also in justice. It's heartbreaking to see potential perish due to avarice.
But change begins when we refuse to regard it as normal. We communicate, act, and hold people accountable. Corruption thrives in darkness; illuminate it sufficiently, and it will die. There is still a chance to rebuild, but only if we care enough.
