alive under the still night,
where silence speaks louder than words."
I've always loved this photo I came across on Pinterest months ago, I have a drawing inspired by it in my sketchbook and I saw it again recently and just thought it would be nice to do a painting inspired by it. She's floating in the water with her face tilted upwards and eyes closed like she's listening to the world breathe, a large black crow rests on her head looking at her like its wondering why her eyes are closed.
This is such a calm dream-like scene and its one of those images that can be interpreted in different ways by different people. Her expression shows peace while the presence of the crow adds a bit of mystery. I love how the water ripples forms around her, I also painted some water bubbles falling down from the crows neck to her face, gliding across her skin and down into the river.
What do you think about this?
