What a captivating story! At first, I thought Agnes and Matthew were on some mystical journey in the dense forest. The way you build the tension made me curious. As it turns out, it was all about cute Bailey who preferred the company of the elderly Mr Shalamaz to Agnes' home.

I agree animals are more sensitive and connect easily with people. I don't know if I could be as courageous as Agnes to give up my pet. But I love that she did and Mr Shalamaz won't be alone anymore. I believe this drives home the point that no man is an island. We need connection and companionship sometimes. Thought-provoking and beautifully written!

It's quite an effort you made with your fractal. Very creative. I love it! Happy Sunday. !PIMP 🙂

I'm so pleased you found my story captivating. I was hoping it turned out as such. That canine knew where he wanted to be. The connection he made with Mr. Shalamaz was stronger than he felt for Agnes. To run away three times gave Agnes the validation she needed to allow Bailey to choose. I felt that she respected his wishes.

You know the story reminded me of my mother. When we were small, every dog in the neighborhood would come and stay close to and sleep under our house. It was amazing. We knew they belonged to our neighbors, but they just kept coming. I always wondered if it was due to the fact she fed them as well as she did us.

I appreciate your kind words for my story and fractal art project. I love creating fractals to accompany my stories that I publish in the Alien Art Hive Community.

You're welcome. Animals are highly sensitive and know what a place or environment feels like home. Apart from your mother feeding them, they must have felt comfortable sleeping under your house. That's nice. 😊 !PIMP
