What an enchanting and heartwarming story! It's a mix of romance and sci-fi. I admire Mandy's character because she's young, curious and open-minded. She's unafraid of the extraordinary, especially of the appearance of the dark blue capsule and the enigmatic figure inside. Despite her parents' reservations towards Garrick, she sees and believe only the good. The funny part for me is her belief that she's "a grown woman " at eighteen! 😄 To most parents, she's still a kid.

The budding romance between the two characters is lovely. I like that Garrick respects Mandy's parents not to take advantage of their daughter. That's beginning of love, in my opinion. I wish I could read more to know how this relationship blossoms. This is a delightful story. Beautifully written as always! Have a relaxing Sunday. 😊 !PIMP

Hello @kemmyb. Thanks as always for your visit. I'm pleased you liked my sci-fi romance. Mandy is too young in the ways of relationships. An entire world will open up to her when she's older. And she will ride the stars and search the universe to fulfill her scientific curiosity.

Whether she's destined to meet Garrick again on her quest for knowledge? Who knows. I have a feeling the questions is, will she recognize him in his true form when they next meet? :)

I agree this is intriguing! The way you frame it, I'm tempted to beg for a continuation to this story but fast-forwarded to a time when Mandy is an adult and meets Garrick again. That would be an exciting culmination to this story. But no pressure! 😁
