In response to the Alien Art Hive Community's Inktober Prompts that were part of their Cosmic Creations Edition #6 Contest, Cosmic Creations Edition #6 is LIVE: INKTOBER PROMPTS, members were encouraged to choose a prompt theme from the Inktober Prompts list for their entry into the contest.
After my entry into the contest with Prompt #17 - DEMON which I published on 9/23, I decided to take the Inktober concept one step further. I will focus on the remaining 30 Prompts on the list, beginning with Prompt #1. How fun the themes will be preparing my projects utilizing the mixed media art themes. If a Drabble story (100 words) or other flash fiction emerges, then all the more fun!
Below is my project for Inktober Prompt #29:
My approach to Inktober Prompt #29 is the concept of a heavy burden. Of course, having a heavy burden doesn't mean that you are carrying around items that consist of actual heavy weight. The term is meant to convey the mental stress that we endure that can sometimes force us to feel mentally heavy. The popular term "the weight of the world on your shoulders" is an example. Placing strain on one's resources or ability to perform a certain task is another example.
During my adult, I have faced numerous challenges, both mental and physical stress that seemed insurmountable. I look back on my life and wonder how I survived them. I attribute my faith and convictions that sustained me through it all.
I knew I wanted a stable diffusion image to depict my version of a "massive" burden facing an individual. For this task, I used StarryAI. Below are my steps to retrieving two images, an anvil, and a person facing toward an uphill climb.

The final two images I included in my scene were a pure fractal I created in Apophysis 2.09 that I placed upon the anvil, adding an even more massive burden, and a free-sourced image just for fun in the landscape. I wanted this small body of water to signify the consequences of failure if the person slipped and fell backward.
Again, I used Canva as my design program. Below are my procedures from left to right for completing my project:
I started with a blank canvas; switch to black.
Resized man in front of obstacle. Needed more.
Added stable diffusion image of the anvil.
Added paperweight fractal to increase burden.
Added body of water image.
Added stable diffusion massive weight image.
Duplicated massive weight image, fill canvas.
Duplicated anvil on each side of man.
Duplicated paperweight. Set atop anvils.
Repositioned water element behind man's foot.
Below is my completed project:
