Yes, that is true that everyone is afraid of something at any given point in their lives. Parents especially should understand the fears of children, no matter the gender and work with them to overcome those fears. I feel that my character, Jaime, does not have a closer relationship with his father. I also feel that our society has placed restraints on our male children not to show emotion or express fears that are sometimes natural.

Jaime's attempt to project himself into the future and ensure that he work with his children to understand them in their time of need is admirable. I hope he can break the cycle of what may be termed "emotional abuse."
