Author's note: This story is the fifth chapter in the series of Eugenia, Omnipotent Being in Female - No 2.
~
The Forsaken People did not perish as the King of Kyaco had hoped. Not banished, but willfully accompanying the Slaves, an unknown ally opened up a new world and showed that friends in high places from foreign lands can be helpful.
~
And the Prophesy was alive and still in full force...

~
"It shall be on the day that the rains of autumn push against our shores, rushing into the temple. On that day, the sun will not set, neither will the dawn rise.
Those who banished us shall come by the thousands seeking refuge.
Our help they detest, for they fear us. But our help they will beg, for we are the only salvation of this land. On that day, one shall rise in love's embrace to rule the land that is Kyaco."

~
Will the King live to regret his decision to banish The Forsaken People in light of the Prophesy and The Forsaken People's new Viking ally?

Now, Chapter 5

The Rise of Eugenia

The Forsaken People's long journey had come to an end.

They dwelt among the ruins behind the mountains, carving out a peaceful existence for fifteen years. Now secluded from the rain forest and rest of the King Kenai's Kingdom, they felt safe.

Once situated after the long journey, it did not take long for the Aifrokatans to establish themselves in the new land and flourish.

And they were content.

They erected a temple in honor of their safe passage. This temple of worship instilled the power within them. The people believed the source of their power came from a higher dimension. At least that was their belief.

They worshiped that power that flowed through each of them from above. They came daily to renew and refresh themselves and their homes.

What the people did not realize was that the power only flowed from one, a young girl named Eugenia. Through her, life sustaining elements were renewed each night.

Eugenia was now fifteen years old.

The time had come for Mizoh and his wife, Salada, to reveal their daughter's true identity.

As Chieftan of the Aifrokatans, he assembled the elders and all his people together in the temple.

He knew dark days were ahead. The dream given to both of them signaled the fulfillment of the Prophesy was at hand. They had to ready their people for the dark days ahead.

That The Forsaken People would come through those days as foretold was no question. Mizoh had faith in his God. He simply needed to inform the people so that they could understand the sacrifice that was required of them.

Mizoh requested Benylon accompany him to the temple. His role in the dark days to come would be crucial. Benylon had confided in Mizoh his true identity kept secret from King Kenai.

There was much to tell The Forsaken People.

Mizoh's and Salada's visions were clear. The Prophesy was clear. And all this involved their precious daughter, Eugenia.

Mizoh stood on the wooden scaffold of the temple. He was ready to speak. He beckoned his wife, Salada, Benylon, and Eugenia to stand beside him.

He readied himself.

"My people. The time has come for me to stand here before you. This is the face of our daughter, Eugenia. You know her. She has been given powers by the Almighty God from above whom she worships faithfully here in the temple.

Here, look at how she has grown."

StarryAI-OmnipotentBeingAfricanAmericanFemale-Image1.png

Jet black, thick curly hair wrapped around her head revealed a glowing bronze oval face. Slightly slanted black pupils, changing to gray on occasion of blue eyes set mysteriously within their sockets, watch guardedly over the Aifrokatans.

A somewhat long, uncommon thin nose without flaring nostrils adds an ethereal glow to her face.

Ever so often she'll smile. What a glorious occasion, as she'll turn toward the light.

At that moment, you can glimpse the crimson bulbous mass stretching from the bottom of her right cheek to the area just below the eye pulsating as though gathering strength from its source to supply all.

The addition of this facial mass doesn't diminish, but enhances her facial beauty. Full bronze lips glows enchantingly. A small frame, supported by a long, slender neck.

Mizoh continued.

"But the most unusual feature is the round mass of flesh resting on the outside of her chest. It is her heart. It is the source of her power."

A tribe member interrupted Mizoh. "You lie. She is just a girl like my daughter. Why deceive us?"

Mizoh stepped forward close to Eugenia. He pulled back the robe, exposing her chest.

A collective gasp could be heard throughout the temple.

He finished saying, "Eugenia carries within this heart the weight of not only our people, but all who will listen and hear the word of the God who created everyone of us. It is He who guides us that made Eugenia different."

"Listen, my people. When we arrived on the shores of the Kingdom of Kyaco, my wife and I were given a vision. We kept it to ourselves for part of the vision we did not understand. The vision was a prophesy." Mizoh spoke loudly and distinctly with conviction.

It shall be on the day that the rains of autumn push against our shores, rushing into the temple.
~~
On that day, the sun will not set, neither will the dawn rise.
~~
Those who banished us shall come by the thousands seeking refuge.
~~
Our help they don't want, for they fear us. But our help they will beg, for we are the only salvation of this land.
~~
On that day, one among you shall rise in love's embrace to rule the vast lands that is the Rain Forest known as Kyaco."

"It is Eugenia, not me; not my wife, not any of you, who has been foretold to rise and lead our people out of this darkness that is about to befall us. We will survive this attack on our people. We will survive King Kenai's attempt to wipe us from the face of the Kingdom. When the end comes, it is Kenai who will fall while Kyaco will stand behind Eugenia. This, I have visioned. Salada has also dreamed this. Eugenia has also been granted favor by an ally we did not know from where it could come. This has finally been revealed to me."

Whispers filtered through the crowd. The tribe people shrunk back from Eugenia as if frightened. "There's something evil about her. Evil about all this you speak."

Mizoh then beckoned for Benylon to step forward.

"Benylon, my friend, it is time to reveal all in truth so that our people will know what they now face to be true. My people, greet this man with love and respect as you would of any of our people for he has called his ancient ancestors to our cause." Mizoh stepped back.

Benylon stepped forward.

An Unlikely Ally

DDG-KingOfAdankaw.jpg

Benylon began speaking to The Forsaken People.

"Aifrokatans, I know you believe me to be an original citizen of Kyaco. I am not. My ancestors are from the country known as Nyvakia. The people lived and survived hundreds of years before the country of Kyaco was discovered. They traded with others who ventured across their lands. Their reputation was of a peaceful and fair.

They were seafarers. Some moved inland and became excellent horsemen in the harsh desert-like land.

Let me tell you their story.

My country is bordered between the western shoreline of Kyaco. It is even farther than the Malevolent Caverns. Beyond the mountains, a raging sea lies to the North. This is where the Nyvakia people dwell. It is an immense country.

Parts of the country high in the mountains is like a blanket of white snow. Then open plains farther inland. It is a dry country, unlike the rain forest of Kyaco with its waterfalls. But my people roamed the land and learned how to survive with the resources the land provided.

Some lived near the edge of the sea. They were great seamen. They were even known as plunderers of the sea. Yes, they did pillage. But they only took what they needed.

Some of my people ventured East. They crossed the sea and found Kyaco. In the time of King Kenai's great-grandfather, they found the country to their liking.

King Montalban welcomed them. He was kind. But the Nyvakia people would not bow down to the King's harsh rule. Many left Kyaco. Some remained. In a few years, King Montalban was forcefully removed.

Aifrokatans, the ruler now in my country of Nyvakia is King Adan. He remembers the unfairness dealt his ancestors by King Montalban. Many of my people are descendants from Nyvakia.

These people do not believe in King Kenai. They do not live as vassals afraid to go against him. For those wealthy have pledged fealty.

My family and others from our home country are merely serfs. But we have pride. Before I left Kyaco, they pledged loyalty to our people and to me.

They did not want to leave Kyaco. But remember, they are the ones who helped The Forsaken People escape with shoes and clothing for their journey.

I have sent a messenger. They will come to our aid. They have convinced others to join us. They want to drive out King Kenai and his vassals.

They have also witnessed the power of Eugenia this night. King Adan will send his horsemen and seamen to aid in our cause.

In three days time, we will all rise up against King Kenai.

Benylon stepped back and allowed Mizoh to step forward to address his people.

"We must ready ourselves for the arrival of our new allies. Tomorrow we get ourselves ready for battle. Benylon will teach us the ways of his country, Nyvakia.

But first, let us pray and remember our journey and why it was necessary. Tell the story to the young so they will not forget this day."

The Journey Of The Forsaken People

The Aifrokata. The 40,000 people who King Kenai, after the death of his father Sebastian, purchased and brought to the lush rain forest of Kyaco. The sea bed served as the last resting place for those did not survive the brutal trip.

Kyaco. A modest, but dense rain forest that supported tall mountains; lush forests; and an alluring landscape. King Kenai, who ascended the throne at age 19, turned into a brutal ruler who nearly destroyed the rain forest.

SlavesArrivingAtKyaco.webp

Their matted hair clung close to their heads. They were tall, with an average height of six feet. Long limbs were unusually long. The people were poorly dressed with dirty and torn clothing. Cloth foot ware with burlap sack string served as shoes.

King Kenai's words that day telling them they were welcome and would be treated fairly, were untrue.

Benylon was the one who shouted, "The Forsaken People." King Kenai labeled them as "Slaves." He needed unpaid laborers who would not know any better to resist. He would achieve his goals by advice from neighboring countries. Word spread rapidly throughout the Kingdom.

The Slaves toiled under the harsh conditions imposed upon them by the King. In the end, their numbers were reduced to less than five thousand.

Thirty years passed.

rinreMr4T-dividerline-Resized.png

Kyaco was no longer the beautiful lush rain forest.

Benylon, a kind and considerate young citizen of Kyaco, befriended Mizoh, Chieftain of the Aifrokata. Benylon, of foreign descent himself, watched the unfair treatment of The Forsaken People.

When the disease given the name "Whispering Forest Plague" appeared, it spread rapidly. A horrible disease that initially caused a persistent itch, what followed next unbearable. The people of Kyaco were afflicted with painful blisters, vomiting and diarrhea left citizens weak and unable to work. Many succumbed to the disease. Tens of thousands died.

Except The Forsaken People. Not one of them contracted the disease. King Kenai blamed them.

Apophysis-BronzePestilence.png

The King was urged to put forth a declaration proclaiming, "I hereby banish The Forsaken People from my Kingdom.

Mizoh, Chieftain of the Aifrokata finally realized that his people's time in Kyaco had come to an end. But it too late. They were being banished.

Consulting Benylon, they devised a plan. Flee from the Kingdom of Kyaco. Benylon convinced friends who felt empathy toward The Forsaken People. They crafted garments and shoes for the journey.

Benylon mapped the route. He assured Mizoh the weakest among them would be able to endure the journey. Both men left to prepare for the journey.

While the original people of Kyaco were planning a secret attack against them, Mizoh readied his tribe and fled by foot.

rinreMr4T-dividerline-Resized.png

Banished from the Rain Forest, The Forsaken People made their way up the shoreline to the coast's end. They turned west, then traveled across the forest until they reached the Malevolent Caverns.

There, Mizoh's wife, Salada, gave birth to their daughter, EUGENIA. It happened on an evening in which the sky was waning. Stars danced across the sky. An apparition that turned to a satin azure, hurled across the horizon in circular blue patterns.

NightCafe-OnBeingKingTut.jpg

The Aifrokatans gathered to witness the event. They fell to their knees and prayed. Afterward, Salada kept Eugenia hidden away from the others. It was imperative that no one saw the baby born with a heart on the outside of her body. Just as the Prophesy foretold.

Meanwhile, King Kenai learned the Slaves had fled. Furious and not wanting to appear weak, he dispatched trackers. He did not want The Forsaken People to move elsewhere in his Kingdom. He wanted to physically destroy them.

The tracking parties rode tirelessly.

Tracking the Slaves as far as they could, they became confused wondering how The Forsaken People knew the layout of the Kingdom.

The King's army wrongly assumed that The Forsaken People were without allies. The traps set by Mizoh and Benylon worked. Afraid to continue, they turned back.

Upon their return, they devised a false story. Nonetheless, King Kenai was furious. He vowed that he would track The Forsaken People himself. However, his words did not match his actions. He never left the seclusion of his royal chambers.

The Slaves continued on. They accomplished more than what the King assumed they would.

They had finally reached a new land to dwell in away from his tyranny.

The Forsaken People credited Benylon's knowledge that helped guide them through safely.

Into Battle As One: The Nyvakia Allies

The Aifrokatans were weary from the day's event in the temple. After remembering their journey, they left and settled down for the night.

They were not frightened of the battle ahead. They were inspired by all they had learned in the temple. They gained a renewed sense of freedom. Not only were a majority of the people of Kyaco on their side, but also Benylon's family ancestors in a neighboring country would come to their aid. An ally in King Adan of Nyvakia.

The next morning, Benylon, who helped them escape from the kingdom, now stood in front of the mountain waiting for the arrival of King Kenai's army.

He looked up to see King Adan of Nyvakia riding toward them. From the sea, his men rode in on his vessel.

Eugenia stepped forward to greet King Adan.

StarryAI-OmnipotentBeingAfricanAmericanFemale-Image1.png

"I may be only fifteen years of age, but I am ready to fight and die for my people. I have never stood face to face with danger. I will in the coming days. With you by my side, I am unafraid."

Eugenia looked deep into in the King's eyes, then reached for his hand. She placed it over her heart.

King Adan stood rigid as if a powerful force coursed through his body. Silent, he bowed to Eugenia. His warriors saw this and bowed as well.

"It is good that the people of Kyaco have abandoned their ruler and are coming to stand with you. That tells me all I need to know.

He placed his shield of friendship banner over her robe, then instructed his warriors to rest for the night.

Apophysis-230516-305-WeaveBasketNBrown.png

Chief Mizoh's heart was heavy. He did not want any bloodshed, but he had no other course to take. Eugenia was their only hope. The tribe's men would follow him into battle on behalf of his daughter.

Benylon swore that King Kenan's army would never reach The Forsaken People's new home. He helped Mizoh gather all men from the tribe able to engage in combat.

With the help of King Adan's horsemen, Benylon decided to engage the enemy on the edge of the rain forest.

King Adan urged Eugenia to step forward and encourage the fighters.

text16.png

"Today, we must go to battle. Many of you may not see the tomorrow's daybreak. Love thy neighbor was given to me. King Kenai's army came once to conquer, but was turned back. They have come again. This time, they will perish if they will not listen to the Prophesy. I do not want to harm the people of Kyaco. But I have been given a Prophesy. I tell you now. I have no choice but to obey. I have no grand reward to give you good tribesmen, or allied horsemen and seamen, but the promise of peace and protection in this life and in the next.
"With me As One!"

text16.png

The Aifrokatan men stood tall facing their allies. They did not want this conflict. However, others had come to their aid. With the Prophesy in mind, they were ready for whatever the outcome would be.

rinreMr4T-dividerline-Resized.png

KingAdan.png

King Adan signaled to Benylon, then shouted to his warriors, "On toward the forest! For Eugenia! For our Nyvakians brethren in Kyaco."

The forest bed trembled as though thousands of horses strode together as one toward King Kenai's army. The sound was deafening. Animals scurried out of harm's path, while birds took flight.

The army stood paralyzed. They did not know what to expect, but they had not anticipated the thunderous sound of the rhythm of long strides.

What they heard and witnessed were arrows whirling through the air and axes thrown in their direction did not sound or feel like a weak enemy. They fought a minor skirmish, but were overwhelmed.

King Kenai had misled them. Thoughts of betrayal swirled as many exchanged horrified glances at the approaching fighters. The King had assured them that the Slaves were weak and would put forth little resistance.

In an instant, the army was surrounded on all sides.

They stood their ground, silent in defensive positions. However, none raise their weapons toward The Forsaken People and their allies.

Facing the enemy in front, King Kenai's army was too confused to notice the horde of men from the Kingdom rushing toward them from behind.

What King Kyaco's army did not know was that the majority of citizens of Kyaco decided they no longer had faith in their King. They banded with Benylon's people and marched toward the forest.

King Kenai's army had no choice but to surrender.

The Aifrokatans and allies remembered Eugenia's wish that she did not want to kill any citizens if not necessary.

As the army stood waiting for their death fate, Eugenia, with her parents, arrived. Eugenia dismounted and stood in front of King Kenai's army.

The conflict was now over.

Eugenia held her hand high in the air. "Do not celebrate a defeat. Instead, celebrate the beginning of understanding and compassion. We are all one people under our God. Let us show them with our words from the Prophesy and not our weapons!".

Benylon again shouted the words of the Prophesy for those who had not heard nor believed.

"When the day comes that the sun shall not set,
and the night's moon shall not rise,
they who banished her people shall surrender,
and she who has a heart shall cause the place where you dwell to plummet,

and bring forth a new nation as a guide to all.
Those wishing not to perish, come. She will receive you.
For her way is the way of salvation out of this world and into the next.
"

Mizoh and Salada stood looking at their daughter with pride. They cried tears of joy as she exposed her chest for the army to see.

King Kenai's army swayed as though enchanted. They had not heard words such as that Benylon spoke. They had not seen the heart on the outside of Eugenia's chest.

They laid down their weapons.

King Adan, their ally, Benylon, and the remainder of the citizens of Kyaco all bowed down to Eugenia.

Mizoh and Salada they knew her journey was not yet ended.

Eugenia must return to the rain forest in the Kingdom of Kyaco.

My current fractal and stable diffusion project is a continuation of my short story for "Omnipotent Being In Female No. 2 (Eugenia) which I outline its history above. To prepare for Chapter 5 of the saga, I created several new fractals and stable diffusion images.

Pure Fractals. The star of this chapter that I want to highlight is my pure fractal. This fractal would serve as the friendship ring between Eugenia and her ally, King Adan of Nyvakia. I was pleased with the interlocking threads in the center of the fractal. By rendering it on a black background, you you can see the intricate details. The fractal was designed in Apophysis 2.09.

In approaching my current stable diffusion project, my second series dealing with powerful women I titled: "Omnipotent Being in Female". My second female in this series is Eugenia. In creating Eugenia, I wanted to portray a beautiful African princess. Her story is one who rises to power to defeat an oppressive dictator ruling in a beautiful land. In order to tell her story, I first had to tell the history of the kingdom she knew nothing about.

Eugenia is a multi-part story.

Chapter 1: depicted the land of Kyaco, a beautiful rain forest.
Chapter 2: told of the decline of the kingdom after the King's death.
Chapter 3: tells of the decision that brought the slaves to the kingdom and their ultimate banishment.
Chapter 4 above recalls their pilgrimage to a new land.
[Chapter 5] above recalls their new Allies summoned to help defeat King Kenai's army on the shores behind the Malevolent Caverns.

Please stay tuned for Chapter 6 - the Conclusion as Eugenia seeks to fulfill the Prophesy given to her.

Thanks for taking the time to view my post. I hope you like my fractal art and stable diffusion project.
