Hannah | A Fractal Art and Stable Diffusion Project

Apophysis-Hannah-FINAL.png

Her name was Hanna. I knew of her; sparingly of her family. Several individuals reminded me that she possessed an unassuming personality and statue. I didn't remember, so I responded that, in all probability, she hadn't yet blossomed. Come into her own due to her rumored premature birth and ensuing illness.

She was nineteen the first time we formally met.

No longer a child, she did blossom as I predicted. Bronze toned complexion. Her Long, flowing brown hair with hints of auburn, resembled freshly spun silk. Thin neckline, with an slightly pointed chin. Full lips dipped in black and purple rouge displayed her penchant for drama. Beautiful, thick eyebrows. But it was those eyes. Extended lashes covered alluring gray pupils swirling into blue. A bottomless well of contemplation. When blinking rapidly, they seemed full of life with a sense of playfulness that led one on a merry journey into the depth of her soul.

Enamored of her looks, she quickly gathered her brushes and easel, then ran outside to capture herself on canvas at various points in the day.

Her pretense in desiring to remain obscure was overlooked. People sought her out at every opportunity. Her worldly knowledge led many to believe she was blessed with the gift of foresight.

Whispers circulated. That she could foretell the future was certain. Many swore to her predictions concerning their fate.

I wonder then, did she envision the horrible future her own fate held in store?

What would happen in nine months from the date of her last painting was a mystery to this day no one could solve.

Hanna has never spoken of it.

The last time I laid eyes on her was a year ago. No one knows exactly under what circumstances her transformation occurred to what we now see.

As I stare at her image, I see a form resembling a female in facial features. However, the rest of her body changed dramatically.

I can't but help wonder if, after the accident in which her family refused to share the details, was her transformation from a beautiful woman to an unimaginable creature necessary to continue her existence in this world?

I can sense her pain and only hope that she is able to deal with her life moving forward.

In preparing this fractal art and stable diffusion project, my first thought was to create a female that undergoes a transformation. I located the perfect female specimen female image above. However, I first want to highlight a recent pure fractal I created in Apophyss 7X. This version is an upgraded fractal rendering program. I felt it was an excellent accompaniment to Hannah's collection of items.

Next, I want to share how Hanna was transformed from the beautiful young lady into the unique, but hideous apparition. Utilizing Deep Dream Generator, photo filtering program, I was able to transform the free sourced female photo with the assistance of their recent addition of a stable diffusion feature.

Below are my steps:

With the starting image above of the beautiful female, I added the following prompt to create the transformed woman.

Deep Dream Generator Text input:
"Female with long neck, earth tones, insanely detailed and intricate, hypermaximalist, elegant, ornate, hyper-realistic, super-detailed."

Deep Dream Generator Result:

Finally, I utilized Canva to blend all images, including my remaining pure fractals below I also created with Apophysis 7X. These fractals were a delight to create and render. Each brings a unique element to Hanna's final image.

Hannah turned out lovely, I feel. Here is the final version.

Fractals and Stable Diffusion?! Brilliant. Have you heard of the software Visions of Chaos? It lets you use a whole bunch of generative AI things (including Stable Diffusion) as well as fractal generators, all on your PC. It's a great starting point if you don't want to fiddle around with command line tools.

What model are you using for this? Is it SD 1.4, or 1.5?

Hello. No, I have not heard of Visions of Chaos. It sounds wonderful different types of programs in one place.

I used Deep Dream Generator to generate the image in my project. A few months ago, the site introduced the text to dream option with several AI model styles.

For my fractals I use Apophysis 2.09 and 7X.

Thanks for your visit. Take care.

It's closed source software, but it is free - highly recommend investigating it :) It sped up a lot of my workflows for image generation.

OK. Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. And thanks also for your support. I appreciate it.

Not a problem. I have a fair bit of Hive Power delegated out, but it is coming back to me slowly, so my votes should increase as time goes on. :)

Same here, helping various communities and projects. However, it does bring in passive income in liquid and tokens, so I'm comfortable with that. Mine will recover in time also.

Thanks so much for all the information and engagement. I appreciate it.

Take care and have a good start to your week ahead.
