In response to the Alien Art Hive Community's Inktober Prompts that were part of their Cosmic Creations Edition #6 Contest, Cosmic Creations Edition #6 is LIVE: INKTOBER PROMPTS, members were encouraged to choose a prompt theme from the Inktober Prompts list for their entry into the contest.
After my entry into the contest with Prompt #17 - DEMON which I published on 9/23, I decided to take the Inktober concept one step further. I will focus on the remaining 30 Prompts on the list, beginning with Prompt #1. How fun the themes will be preparing my projects utilizing the mixed media art themes. If a Drabble story (100 words) or other flash fiction emerges, then all the more fun!
Below is my project for Inktober Prompt #28:
How lovely and sparkling the twin ballerinas are for my vision for Inktober Prompt #28. They are surrounded by flowing twirlers and magical birds. When I think of the word "Sparkle", I am reminded that not all things are bright and shiny. I feel that whether a person, object, or situation is viewed as sparkle is subjective. Each person has his or her own views as to what shines in their world of thinking. For instance, dramatic and thrilling fiction story or a black and subdued image I locate or create myself sparkles in my mind.
Don't laugh as I share with you that my pulse beats faster as my mind contemplates how I can use the images I create, the majority of which are pure fractals, in blending them with other type art. They sparkle for me. It's just my thing.
And, as I always tell others..."Do Your Thing, Whatever It Is!"
My steps in creating the sparkling twins scene are set out below.
I start with my three ethereal pure fractals I surrounded the twin ballerinas with. I created them in Apophysis 7X, an advanced fractal rendering program.
Next, I decided to use a stable diffusion image for the ballerina. I love how the program interpreted my description. The position of the dancer's arm crossing over to the other creates an ethereal scene.

To blend the images, I uploaded all into Canva, my design program. Below are my procedures:
Started with a blank, white canvas.
Switched canvas color to purple. Added purple flower petal fractal. Resized it to fill the canvas.
Added bird flock image. Duplicated and repositioned it.
Added the green flower fractal.
Duplicated the green flower fractal to fill the canvas.
Added purple mountain fractal.
Removed mountain fractal background, duplicated and repositioned them.
Added the stable diffusion ballerina image.
Duplicated the ballerina and repositioned them facing each other. Completed the project.
