Well whoever this is does not seem kind. Looks like they are trying to scare people.
I am not sure what your guy's goal is but looks like everyone got hung up on the wrong things. And then people tried to leverage the idea of making HIVE more free at my expense.
HIVE forked in March 2020. I can appreciate no one wanted a world where the fork happened in the first place.
It has been 5+ years since the fork. This is madness that to this day people are going out of their way to harass people about the way HIVE is now.
Downvotes were a thing before I got here. I am not sure why people that are here before me think this is ok to treat people this way.
I have nothing to do with Steam. I don't even know what the hell it was like. Why are you making it my problem? Why are you making me despise Blurt and want nothing to do with it?
I have no control over how the reward pool works. Everyone who posts more than once in a day usually gets downvoted on HIVE. That is a standard I was expected to adhere to when I got here. I followed that standard.
If people want things to change on HIVE then they should advocate for a change in a reasonable way.
Blurt could have totally been a success story. I think having a chain that does not have downvotes is fine and is a competitive edge when marketed in a POSITIVE way.
But when you guys treat new Hivians the way you treated me, do you think I want anything to do with Blurt?
Just imagine for a second if you guys were nice to me and that got me to try Blurt. Imagine if I bought say, 25% less HIVE and then bought Blurt.
Blurt's market cap is under $1m. If I put anything close to what I put into HIVE into Blurt, it would have been crazy and awesome.
Maybe Blurt will be able to survive and I will change my mind one day?
But not anytime soon when the majority of people from Blurt harass me. Blurt seems to only have people that harass Hivians. People from Blurt have been harassing me or labeling me an enemy for using downvotes which were here before I even got to HIVE. I want to put $0 into Blurt and I think the way I have been treated totally justifies my feelings. Why would I invest in Blurt when people from Blurt harass people on a totally different chain?
Why would I ever go to Blurt after people from Blurt call me an enemy and harass me for using the protocol as it exists?
