Over the years I have been looking for ways to share my works beyond those around me and of course social media was the obvious option. Well, I am not one who does the obvious. I have known about Hive for some time now but haven't been able to open an account. Yesterday though, the jig was up and the wall that was ill luck crumbled 😁.
Now, after creating my account I took my pen and my voluminous old pad and made as many sketches as I could, in total I think it would be around 4 in total.
While I was browsing through communities yesterday I saw Alien Art and the works there really impressed me. I then decided that I would make something in that line and as it stands the four sketches I stated earlier are truly in that line.
The subject I used for this sketch unfamiliar to me and isn't my original piece. I only changed a few things around the character and that also will be angle I would be exploring: morphing figures.
And angle I think is necessary to state is my choice of colors. For now I would be making my sketches with only three colors. I might from time to time use only two colors depending on the subject or what I want to portray.
I believe my journey here will be fun and that we would blaze through many adventures and contests together.
Now that all is said. I would like to say that I spent a great deal of time trying to figure out the markdown stylings and sorting dividers. Is my formatting okay?

The gorgeous lineart I traced had shallow depths just incase I had to make some adjustments to the figure and as it happened, I did do that eventually.

I added some black on tge shirt using a mixture of hatching and cross hatching. As far as I am concerned, it was the fastest way to fill in those blanks.

Furthermore I extended tge spread of black and added the red on the tongue.

The work was nearly finished at this point and considering the limitations I currently have with my color choice, I touched up her body with some blue and strengthened the lineart once more.

And here is the finished work eh..

The materials I used while making this sketch are blue black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER

You are more than welcome to stop by any you feel like it. I promise to always keep you entertained with my art.
