This piece has been gestating in my mind for the past week. I found myself deeply inspired by a series of captivating artworks I encountered, each with its unique way of conveying emotion and form. While I wish I could pinpoint the exact pieces that sparked this vision, they collectively ignited an idea for a work that explored the interplay between inner calm and intense feeling.
"Crimson Soul" began as a rough mental sketch, a fleeting image of a profile touched by contrasting energies. When I finally sat down with MediBang Paint Pro, I knew I wanted to capture that duality. The process involved layering soft gradients with the airbrush to create the smooth skin tones, while the vibrant crimson elements were built up to evoke a sense of burning passion or an ethereal emanation.
The smudge brush played a crucial role in blending these contrasting elements, allowing the red to interact with the grayscale in a fluid and dynamic way, almost as if the inner "soul" is visibly bleeding through. At certain points, I also employed the blur brush to soften edges and create a sense of depth and atmosphere, particularly around the fiery aspects.
Life had its own plans this past week, which unfortunately delayed the minting of "Crimson Soul." However, I believe this waiting period has only heightened my excitement in finally sharing it with you all. This piece feels like a small window into a world where serenity and intense emotion coexist.
