Hola buenas noches a todos los amantes de la pintura. Estas semanas he tenido poco tiempo para compartir con ustedes los recientes trabajos de pintura que he venido realizando. Estoy en medio de una pintura por encargo y la verdad que me ha absorbido todo el tiempo, debido a que tengo que terminarlo en la próxima semana.
Pero bueno aquí estoy presente nuevamente para compartirles un pequeño trabajo que realice en mi estudio. Se trata de un paisaje de la ciudad de La Habana, en especial la calle San Lázaro. Les puedo decir que es una calle muy antigua, una de las primeras calles extra muros del casco histórico, y une La Habana con el Vedado, empieza en el paseo del prado y termina en la escalinata de la universidad de La Habana. Son muy hermosos los atardeceres que se pueden ver en esta calle, sobre las 6 pm el sol se empieza a ocultar sobre la escalinata de la universidad y son espectaculares las vistas a contra luz que se pueden apreciar a esa hora. Para ustedes hoy les voy a interpretar una de esas vistas que capturé hace muchos años atrás con mi teléfono celular de aquel entonces, les cuento que era un Nokia con una camarera decente que hacia muy buenas fotos por aquel entonces. Todavía guardo con recelo esta foto que un día saque por aya por el año 2010.
- Siempre me gustaron las imágenes a contra luz, creo que es porque en mi pintura trato de que la luz tenga el protagonismo cuando de paisajes se trata.
Proceso creativo desde el principio hasta el final
- Es una pintura pequeña mide 25x43 cm, es óleo/lienzo partiendo de una mancha inicial con pintura acrílica, La Mancha inicial con acrílico me funciona muy bien ya que puedes hacerla y en varios minutos empiezas a trabajar con óleo que ya está completamente seco todo lo anterior.
El lienzo está imprimado con una pintura impermeabilizante de color rojo, no es lo ideal pero mantiene la flexibilidad y elasticidad que debe tener el lienzo para que no tenga craqueladuras posteriormente. En estos momentos no tengo gesso que es al 100% lo mejor para preparar la tela.
🇨🇺Una frase Cuban que dice que si no tienes lo necesario, mejor busca otra solución alternativa que resuelva el problema de igual manera.🇨🇺
- Como pueden ver la bandera esta a contra luz también y es traspasada por los rallos del fuerte sol.
- Es un proceso que siempre se debe tener en cuenta la generalidad primero y luego se van a las particularidades, o sea los detalles se dejan para último.

But well, here I am present again to share with you a little work that I do in my studio. It is a landscape of the city of Havana, especially the street.San Lázaro. Les puedo decir que es una calle muy Old, one of the first extra-walled streets of the historic center, and connects Havana with the Vedado, It starts on the meadow promenade and ends on the staircase of the University of Havana. The sunsets that can be seen on this street are very beautiful, around 6 pm the sun begins to hide on the staircase of the university and the views against the light that can be seen at that time are spectacular. For you today I am going to interpret one of those views that I captured many years ago with my cell phone from that time, I tell you that it was aNokia with a decent waitress who took very good photos back then. I still keep with suspicion this photo that I took one day for the year 2010.
- I always liked images against light, I think it's because in my painting I try to make light take center stage when it comes to landscapes..
Creative process from the beginning to the end
- It is a small paint measures 25x43 cm, it is oil / canvas starting from an initial stain with acrylic paint, The initial stain with acrylic works very well for me since you can do it and in several minutes you start working with oil that is already completely dry all of the above.
The canvas is primed with a red waterproofing paint, it is not ideal but it maintains the flexibility and elasticity that the canvas must have so that it does not crackles later. At the moment I don't have gesso Which is 100% the best to prepare the canvases.
