Jujutsu Kaisen S2 Episode 19 REACTION/REVIEW Black Flash

in The Anime Realm5 months ago (edited)

This time I will review Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 19. In the previous episode, Jujutsu Hanami started fighting with Fushiguro, Kamo, and Inumaki. They started fighting and couldn't communicate with their teacher for reinforcements.

This week’s episode is almost completely focused on combat. As the one-armed curse reveals the full extent of its power, the students are forced to desperately struggle to keep up. When even previously impressive individuals like Kamo are shown to be out of their level, the situation’s scope is quickly revealed. The curse’s power seems all but unstoppable, at least until Itadori and Toudou enter the fray.

Itadori appears more strategic and has greater control over his cursed energy when he successfully uses Kokusen. Even so, his spirit was still resisting and had a lot of energy. After an intense and eventful battle, Hanami manages to put them in a trap, but the witches manage to escape and escape alive after falling into the forest. Itadore and Aoi have good synchronization in battle, when they recover they are ready to return to action.

STORY

Inumaki and his friends fought Hanami using hit-and-run techniques. They reduced Hanami's movements with Inumaki and Fushiguro's abilities together with Kamo changing to attack the Jujutsu. But the situation changed once they got to the roof and Inumaki had reached his limit. He fell after throwing Hanami away.

Maki arrives and starts fighting with Hanami after Kamo has fallen. He and Fushiguro work together to fight Hanami. The situation changed again after Fushiguro was hit by Hanami's attack which made plants grow on his stomach. The plant feeds on curse energy so Fushiguro cannot use his technique.

When Maki was in Hanami's hands, Todou and Yuuji saved them. After asking Panda to take care of Fushiguro and Maki, Todou and Yuuji start fighting with Hanami. But instead of fighting together, Toudou leaves Yuuji alone until he can use Black Flash (Kokusen).

Will Yuuji succeed in using Black Flash? Will the two of them succeed in defeating Hanami?

OPINION

In this episode, Jujutsu produces another epic scene. There's no mistaking it was when Yuuji used Black Flash. Similar to the anime next door, this epic scene also appears in episode 19. That's why if you follow the page, these two series are definitely the hot topic of conversation at the moment. After the Kurama incident in the Boruto comic series the other day.

Black Flash itself is a quite complex technique and when successful in doing it, their attack damage will be 2.5 times greater. So far not many people can use this technique. According to information from the anime, it is possible that only Nanami and Gojou have used this technique. Rarely people can use this technique continuously.

The interesting scene for this episode is definitely when Todou and Yuuji fight with Hanami. We can see that even though they haven't known each other for long, they can work together well. In fact, it seems like Yuuji has been poisoned and calls Todou "My friend" too. They had grown closer after their previous fight.

Not just the main character scenes. Fushiguro and his friends also got almost half of the episodes. Together with the upperclassmen, he tries to get to Todou's place while fighting Hanami. Luckily they succeeded and so far there have been no casualties from Hanami's attacks.

Another funny scene is when Todou suddenly slaps Yuuji. I had a feeling that Todou would do something. I thought he was going to hit Yuuji, but it turns out he just slapped our main character. The reason is that Yuuji still can't control his emotions so for now he has to fight calmly to deal more damage.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this anime continues. Comics from this series have also been published in Indonesia recently. Maybe it's already volume 2, the last time I saw a comic in Indonesia, only volume one was published. What do you say? Is this episode the same or better than KnY episode 19?

That's it for this review of Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 19. Thank you for reading this review.

There is something about this series that doesn't quite convince me. I watched the first season and I got to chapter 11 of the second and I've lost interest, maybe because many of its chapters are quite talkative and the fight scenes are really short. But I'll give it another chance and finish watching it.
