Along with the Gods is a fantastic Korean series of movies set in two gorgeous parts. The series of films is a remake, quite remarkable of an extremely popular webtoon and tells the story of a man who died and will go through 7 trials in 49 days. The first part of this wonderful series appeared in 2017 under the title, Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds and the second part appeared in 2018 under the title, Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days. --- It's a super fantastic series, quite captivating, which i recommend to everyone with confidence - it's a production that can't disappoint you. This awesome movies deserve that precious time spent watching them.
I was really enchanted by these movies through the special effects, the story and the very good image ~ It captivated me from the first minute. An epic story that i keep recommending.
In general, the plot is inspired by the Buddhist scripture which says that at death, a person's soul is forced to go through the 7 judgments (lying, indolence, injustice, murder, betrayal, violence and disrespect of parents). It is interesting that these stages of judgment must be completed within 49 days, and if they are passed successfully ~ the soul receives the gift of reincarnation. Believe me, the action is not at all boring ~ from my point of view the movies are something original, about the spiritual life present in the realms of the Hereafter.
