Oh my God! We are on the same page. I have always heard the word "Hibiscus" about tea, but I never bothered to find out what kind of tea it is. After reading this blog, I realized that we have plenty of these plants in our area. They are beautiful and abundant, and we refer to them as "Gumamela." I considered buying Hibiscus tea, but now I think I will just collect some flowers from my neighbors' gardens. I bet they don't even know about this herbal plant. I am glad you also have many of these flowers around, they are nice by themselves already. For tea, I do prefer to buy it as I don't know the process of drying it etc to be suitable for the consumption ;)
