I Am Alive! 🌱
Well, it was almost inevitable. With the stupidity and unwillingness to be careful around others in their own freedom of movement, a second wave of the virus is slowly picking up speed in my country. While the amount of active cases were below 40 for a while now, the numbers have gone up to 380.
That means that our oh so smart government is just now looking at ways to prevent even further increase, when they should've tried to stay on top of things when the numbers were low.
The biggest problem I have with this, is that again our freedom of movement is being limited with earlier curfews. Too early curfews however don't have the effect they want it to have. Instead of decreasing the risk of spread, I think the risk is increase, because a curfew means more people will have to go to stores or other places at the same time, due to less available time to do these things. So more concentration of traffic and masses in all forms.
But hey, I'm not as "smart" as the "leaders", so what do I know? Rumor has it that the numbers might also be manipulated. Conspiracy or not, let's just hope this all blows over soon. Ready to plan my travel itinerary for 2021!
