Yes I tried a few different bees but they all have imperfect transparency. I could move the bee or shrink it more, or add a white background with more currency-style layers.

Maybe replace the black with red?
A yellow and red bee would look interesting depending on it is was transparent with another high hue color.
This is one of the earliest Hive logos that one user came up with.
Here how does this look now?
I would if I knew who it was. Tried searching a few ways, nothing coming up as a match. I will keep looking, it was early on, the first month or so.
