We're still a long way off from Gattica, but the day is coming. Soon all genetic disease will be removed from all babies as well as aging. It's just a matter of time now, probably 100 to 200 years. Imagine living to be 2000 years old in the body of a 25 year old. Only severe trauma would cause death in a world like that, too bad it will come too late for us!
