We need more places like this
Before I start talking about Organico I want to leave you with a small introduction and backside story to it will make more sense the fact that I say we need more places like this all over the place.
In case you don't know I am vegetarian and I have became vegetarian for ethical and moral reasons. We all know that all the industries are not very environmental friendly and on top of that when it comes to animal products we all know the way they animals are treated.
Although I still have a long way to try and make a difference I do like to try my best. That's why when you are buying groceries and getting products we should also look for solutions that are not as destructive or unethical.
Sometimes it is difficult to make those changes because the majority of businesses themselves really don't make things easier for the consumer.
Organico offers you a nice coffee shop and also a groceries with a lot of products that are not as bad for the environment and also help reducing the consumption of plastic. But you will be able to see that down below.
We want more places like this all over the place
A very chilled and relaxed place
When I got to the bar, the waiter there was very chilled and relaxed, to be honest the place was very quiet at my visit, so I guess that also helped. But straight away you get a whole bunch of tasty food looking at you. In one side you get all the savoury goods and on the other side you can see all the cakes and sweets.
There were a lot of choices and this are just what you see. This place have a kitchen and a menu that you can order from. So there are a lot that you can choose from. That is (almost always) a good thing.

The shop is very open and have big spaces with a lot of great natural light. By the window you can see some more pastries that look really fresh and delicious. So the choices keep appearing all over the place.
And this is a minute away from the awesome Camden Market, a great area to visit.

Bring your own containers to shop
Here you can see a wall full of fresh cereal, pastas, dry products that you can buy by the weight. You bring your own containers from home and you just pay for what you want to buy without creating more plastic waste.
This is one of the great parts of this shop and I think all the big brand supermarkets not only should but should be obligated to have a similar section just like this one, but bigger and with even more options.

A lot of drinks and food choices
When it comes to beverage drinks you can see in the wall behind the bar, you can choose between a lot of different types of drinks, from cold to warm, depending on the day, your mood or just your preferences.
For me you know that I am always looking for that amazing coffee to make my day brighter and better. Because I have had already too much coffee on this day I have decided to have a latter and try to balance that coffee amount with a little bit extra milk.

Time to talk about coffee
Here's the moment when the magic happens. This is my coffee being prepared. And look at the bartender focus. Straight away this is a good sign when the bartender is focusing on preparing a good drink to give to you.

Unfortunately as you can see by the coffee photos, all that focus that the bartender was putting on pouring my coffee came out a little bit short.
There is a small attempt of some foam milk art, but also straight away you can see that the foam was not fluffed properly so the final result would never be the best. Also you can see that the cup is not that big and it was not filled properly.
I didn't mind about the sad coffee art, or the "quality" of the foam. In this case what I would like to have more was coffee. Because on top of not being filled to the top the foam was very thick so there was not a lot on that cup to drink.
And unfortunately that is sad because the little coffee that was in the cup was actually very tasty and I have enjoyed the flavour of it. So I just wanted a little more.
Attempt on coffee art, but you know that foam was not ready
This usually happen when you warm your milk too much or you let too much air in while you are trying to bring the milk to a boil. When this happen you need to hit the milk on the table before you pour it so you try and get rid of that air on the foam and make it more creamy and compact.
Coffee art is indeed an art, so if you get some nice coffee art on your coffee you better know that the person that prepared your coffee have a lot of skills.

Big and open area
They have some sitting area on the ground floor, that have some steps to the supermarket in the back and as you can see it is a very open area with a lot of space and great lighting.
They have another sitting are on the "first floor" that is open to the rest of the shop. I have sat on the first floor and took this next couple of photos from where I was sitting. That are it is also very open and large and it is on top of the supermarket area.
Very nice to just chill for a little bit.
As you can see there's also some cleaning products and some beauty products that you can buy if you bring your own containers. From shampoos to soaps, kitchen and toilet disinfectants and there are a lot of choices.

The decoration was nothing too special but it was fun, this bed side breakfast trays/tables were the most fun details I have found in the place and I thought it was really fun to have this as tables.
I wanted to get some work done. And unfortunately a lot of the tables are glass and have a message saying to not use laptops on those tables. I still got some work done but I had to have the laptop on my lap. Finally using it the way it is supposed to be used.

Let's do our best to make a positive difference in this World
This place it is not local to me. But now that I have found it and since lately I have been going to this area quite often I will be back for sure to get some goods.
To tie with the start of this blog, I feel like we all can try and keep doing as much changes as we can in our daily basis, maybe in the long term we can help make a big and positive difference in the impact we have while we are in this planet.
Because if we all keep ignoring it, we all can see the effects if have in our life. Imagine the impact it will have in the future if we don't make any change in our behaviours at all.
I would say if you have a place like this around, even if it is not the quickest and easier choice, I would say to at least now and then make the effort to get out of your way to go and shop at those places.
