Cool Building

Here I am on the hunt for a nice place to get warm and get a coffee after another amazing photography walk, this time around the Liverpool Street area, when from the far I see this weird pointy building in the middle of nowhere. So I thought, that's it, I have found the place.

Definitely the building caught my eye and curiosity and this was one of the main reasons I have decided to go with this place. Not only it looked cool from the outside but since it was all windows around we could see the inside and looked very cosy and comfortable.

After checking if it was a coffee shop and see advertised coffee I have decided to go in.

More of a Restaurant/Bar

Straight away after entering I have got the idea that this place is definitely not a simple coffee shop, it is a restaurant/bar that also serve coffee. All the tables were set for meals. But because the coffees were advertised outside I have still decided to stay and enjoy my break.

Want to say that the coffee that I have ordered tasted terrible, one of the worst coffees I have tried in a long time. But I am guessing that is not their fault, it is just the coffee they are using. But I for sure will not be stopping in this place again to have coffee.

Maybe a meal or a drink...

As I said previously, when inside the place looks great, the staff was not too warm, or helpful. I felt a little bit ignored. I was not too mad about it. When I was working as a waiter, customers that would come in the restaurant and wanted to sit simply for a coffee were not my favourite customers either.

If I am around in the area I will for sure remember about this place, but if I am not in there I won't think about it twice. Personally, it looks better than the experience itself. I won't say I had a negative experience but I also can't give high praises to the place.

Maybe in another circumstances and maybe to have a nice meal in a different type of visit I would have a different opinion.

For this coffee visit I have to say that it wasn't a great experience.

Hello @sergiomendes,

We're Looking forward to seeing you soon;-)
Have a great day!

ohhh my thank you so much. that is so nice. It means a lot :D I'll keep bringing more and new coffee shops :D

You're very welcome! Looking forward to seeing more:)

Hello @sergiomendes, that's a cool building indeed! I'd love to do photography around that area too. Shame about the experience, as there is nothing more disheartening that going somewhere and being completely disappointed.
Thanks for stopping by:)

Thank you so much. Yeah it is an interesting area because of all the mixture of so many different architectural styles and the mixture between the old and the new :D If you have a chance you should. Well, hopefully if I decide to visit again, next time will be better :D

Yeah, I like the mix of old and new...the exterior is eye-catching, indeed!:)
I miss the streets of London. SO much to see, and it's a city that feels complete.

yep. I love this crazy place. Not an easy place to live but for sure amazing. It gives you so much, but in return also asks a lot from you eheheh.

Yeah, I've only ever visited Central London, but I totally get what you mean. It's a city that never sleeps.
I live in a completely contrasting world on the canals in nature. I would feel overwhelmed if I took the trains in London now. I used to roam the streets of Central London in the 90's. I absolutely loved it. I bet it is completely different now.

You gotta plan a stay on the London channels :D That could be fun for you.

Yes, later in the year we plan to spend a few nights in Little Venice, and we also want to do right by the London Bridge area. I'm super excited about that.
I'm on my way to Wales now, for the first time:)

Sometimes a beautiful building and interior attracts attention and you want to go to this place.

You think that if it's so beautiful and cozy here, then the food and service should be on top, but the managers forget that the main thing is delicious and high-quality food and drinks.

Thank you for sharing your experience and impressions.

My pleasure. I can't comment on the food or drinks because I only had the coffee. But it was an alright place :D
