Oh what a lovely reply, thank you!
The pipes are to stop the floating islands of water lillies and general flotsam clogging the banks up. You could come over, moor up the narrow boat and do some yoga on the octagon!
I hope you and your lesser half have got your engine troubles finally laid to rest and can continue your adventures along the waterways. I'm looking forward to you meeting up with the Foxes Afloat and forcing them into starting a Hive account!

        Indeed, I like your idea of yoga on the octagon;)

        They should start the installation of the engine in a few days. We're still on the boatyard and doing the necessary prepping and awaiting the mechanic. It's fairly busy in the boatyard as everyone wants to get work done before the winter.

        It would be great to have more narrow boaters on Hive. Do you watch "Chugging Along", they are our friends and maybe one day they will get into Hive ;)
