RE: The Woodman, busy for Sunday roast

Hello @sergiomendes,
You've got to love an old good English Pub, especially one with live music (but at the right time or for the right mood). I absolutely love an English Roast, or I'll have a Steak Pie, or anything hearty that ticks my fancy. Heading to a pub on a cold wintery day is the best, as it lifts the mood. Whether it be for a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a few pints with friends. It's hard to find an authentic English Pub outside of the UK, so it's great for me to come back and visit them again.
Have a lovely week!

yeah no matter which pub you visit you always feel home because all of them are so similar, so you get that familiar feel. In Algarve, south of Portugal you have many. It is a heavy touristic area with the majority of English people, even some "english villages". One year I remember visiting one of this pubs and no one could even speak Portuguese! LOL

Yeah, I've always heard about those communities of ex-pats that stick together. I rather mix with locals and get fully immersed in a culture, wherever I go!

That is way more fun. I was never into mixing much with other Portuguese people here in the UK! If I wanted to live as a Portuguese person I would be living in Portugal eheheh
