I am not upvoting because you lost your dad, but that you are choosing to honor his memory. But you really want to try to use this as a sign of strength and don't be saddened by it and try your best to reframe it as a day of tribute and remembrance to all the great times/memories you shared. I'm sure he would be proud of who you have become. RIP
