Garden Update: Re-Planted Some Bell Pepper in Individual Pots + Baby Okra and Eggplant in our Garden

I did a lot of gardening last weekend. On Saturday, I had to transfer some of the bell pepper plants I planted last time into individual pots.

I prepared 5 pots, soil, rice hulls and water for the transfer. As you can see, the seedlings I replanted last time are growing much bigger. We're going to keep five of them and give the rest in the community garden.

So, I started with the preparation...

It's the same process. I mixed some good soil and rice hulls, transfered them into a pot and prepare it for replanting by watering it.

Then, I slowly get the seedling from the previous container, and transfer it to the pot. Then, I watered it. :) I just did the same for the five others.

The pot is still so big for them, but it's alright. I didn't fill it with soil. Once they grow bigger, I'll be adding more good soil to it. For now, this amount of soil is enough for them to grow. They're small but actually, one of them has a tiny flower bud. It's so cute. :)

These remaining seedlings would be replanted in the community garden. Actually, we replanted it yesterday and did some harvesting, but I'll be writing about it in my community garden update next time. :)

On to the second part of this post... I'm so happy to show you some progress in our garden. The small buds last time started to actually grow into vegetables. I took several pictures, so please notice some transitions. :)

The first picture was taken last Monday and I took the last picture last Saturday. :) It's so fun to see the transition. :) I'm going to plant more eggplants.. maybe bonsai ones next time. I haven't bought new seeds yet. haha

As for the okra, I'd like to show you something...

Focus on the wilted flower. :)

Isn't it cool how the baby okra erupted when the flower wilted. It's so fun to observe the changes every day.

I also took some transition photos of the biggest okra we have. :) Check it out below...

It's so tiny and chubby. haha

The okra grows so fast! It's amazing... :)
Witnessing these things makes me want to grow more vegetables. It's relaxing and is a great exercise. haha

I'll update you with all the other stuff next time. I hope you enjoyed my post today. See you around!
