Hey friends!!! It's Day 5 of the 30-day blogging challenge!
As you might see in the title, the topic for today is about something that we fear or we're afraid of... and obviously, it's cockroaches.

I'm borrowing this picture of a cute cockroach from an anime called "Gochika". Well, I haven't watched this anime and I don't really plan to because I just can't stand cockroaches! I'm also using her picture because she's cute and looking at a real cockroach's picture gives me goosebumps. UGH!
There's a manga that I'm really interested in called "Terraformars", but I am not brave enough to read it. Simply thinking about mutant cockroaches freaks me out. I'm still really intrigued with the story, so I might change my mind.

I'm not sure why I don't like cockroaches or how my fear of them started. I mean, I'm OK with worms, spiders, lizards, etc... but not cockroaches.
I even enjoyed this moment with a snake. *This was the first time, so I was a bit scared when the snake's face started to go near me, but yeah... I did it a couple more times. :)
I guess, cockroaches are just my nemesis. I especially fear the flying ones. It's funny when a cockroach appear, I suddenly disappear... my parents call it "ninja moves". Whenever I see one, I runaway and hide.

I'm quite sensitive to the paranormal stuff, but I won't care if you let me stay in a haunted house overnight, as long as there's no cockroaches in there. haha
I have learned that there are ways to get over a fear or phobia like self-exposure therapy (desensitisation) where a person is gradually introduced with the things he/she is scared of, as well as flooding (implosion) where the source of phobia is suddenly introduced to the person.
I don't think any of those things will be effective on me. I'm just too scared of these little monsters. T_T
And yeah, let's end here... maybe if cockroaches were as cute as Gochika, then it wouldn't be a problem. xD
