I've Always Wanted To Try #PENMANSHIP Challenge, So I Did!!! <3

in GEMS4 years ago

Hey friends!
In the past, I have seen several challenges online. There are interesting ones and not so interesting ones. However, there's this one challenge that I have always wanted to try... and so I did.

It's called PENMANSHIP challenge.
There are various types of PENMANSHIP challenges online, but this is the one I want to do. Basically, I just write sentences showing my penmanship while explaining when I use such handwriting. Are you ready? If so, let's begin!

From here on out, you're going to see pictures as I wrote sentences one by one. I hope you enjoy it! If you feel like doing the same, feel free to do so. I would love to see how your penmanship or handwriting looks like. <3

And finally, here's how the whole page looks after I've done the challenge.

When I was young, my mother used to be very strict especially when it comes to my handwriting. I remember, she used to tear the pages of my notebook when she wasn't satisfied with my penmanship or when she sees a lot of erasures. Afterwhich, she makes me write everything again until it's perfect.

I used to cry a lot and my hand hurts so much, but my elementary teacher told me that it will actually help me a lot in the future. So even though my hand hurt from writing again and again, I was able to have a passable penmanship.

When I studied Nursing in the University, we had a course called "PRINTING". In this course, we were asked to write something perfectly like something printed from a computer. No erasures were allowed. A lot of students struggled with it and were asked to write again and again. However, I was able to complete my printing course with flying colors and pretty much quickly.

Through that I realized how important my mom's discipline towards me that time was. I feel grateful and I need not struggle with it.

As a teacher, I believe having a readable or acceptable penmanship is a must. As a writer, I like to see my poetry pieces in a nice handwriting. Yes, I write my poetry pieces on a notebook as well, though I haven't written everything yet. I'll show them to you here one of these days.

Anyway, I'll end my penmanship challenge and story here. I hope you enjoyed this post. Feel free to do the challenge yourself! See you next time!
