I had no idea about needlework. But I got some experience to remain as my advisor like my mother and sister.
They are very much experience about needlework and helped me by giving a lot of instructions.
Yes, I am doing my very first needlework. I faced a lot of problems, like the needle passed and punched on my finger and created wound as below.
Another problem I faced was the tension of a thread. To create a plain artwork on the fabric, you have to keep the tension very loose. Otherwise the fabric will be crimped.
Most of the persons at there first time do this mistake. I also did it. My mother gave me proper instruction about how can I overcome this problem.
Procedure
To do this at first you had to draw on the upper side of the fabric with pencil. Then you have to select colour of thread for different line.
Selection of suitable colour is very much important for the beautification of the fabric. If you cannot select proper colour and they don't adjust with the colour of fabric, then it will look very odd.
Then you have to select a start point from where you will start to create needle work. There is a round shaped frame that is called Embroidery Frame , which is used to keep fabric straight during embroidering.
