These people are just ignorant in my eyes. Some believe in a big conspiracy, but tens of thousands or even more doctors and nurses and scientists would have to be involved in this conspiracy.
There are even people who see the photos and videos of the Italian hospitals and say it is a hoax - ignorant and stupid.
As you say, when the deaths hit 100,000 or when their neighbors die from a non existant virus they might think different ... or even not then - ignorant, stupid and sad.
