I got some really cool news this week. After 4 months I'm a Wind Maker on @liotes! This marks a milestone for me on HIVE. Five moths ago I decided to finally take the time to dive into crypto. After a month of researching different options I found an article by @khazrakh about a new project called @liotes starting up in the next month. I researched the project, and liked a lot of the aspects about it including.
A strong, well thought out Whitepaper, with a plan for long term growth.
A kind and welcoming community.
A new project that I could get in on the ground floor of.
Four months ago I made a HIVE profile, moved some funds over and bought my fist LENM tokens. This allowed me to start mining LEN tokens. As LEN tokens started getting mined @achim03 and @ph1102, the team behind the project, began adding use cases for their tokens. As of now you can sell LEN on the market, use them in the @liotes shop on the Liotes website, and use them to buy card packs in @risingstargame. So far I've used mine to rent a couple of Splinterlands cards, and to buy a pack of Splinterlands cards.
There are two other aspects of the project. The first is the curation trail. @liotes.voter is the projects curation trail. It upvotes high quality posts by members of the project. Delegators to the account earn LEN tokens.
The other aspect of the @liotes project is their missions. Every week they release a post with a task to do. Most often the task is commenting on a specific topic. Doing these tasks and engaging on other @liotes post earns you points. Additional ways to earn points include holding LENM tokens, and delegating Hive Power to @liotes.voter. As you reach certain milestones of points you can earn a new title, this new title bring with it a couple of perks.
After hitting a new title you are given 5 LEN tokens.
Higher ranked members of the project receive larger upvotes from the @liotes.voter curation trail.
I am officially the 3rd person to reach the rank of Wind Maker. This project is still new, but it is growing all the time. If you haven't checked it out yet I highly encourage you to read through their whitepaper.
