hello everyone here, this is my first time writing this Challenge. I was going through my friends' blog when I saw her write up on this challenge so I decided to go through @tegoshei post and I saw this:
It looks fun and interesting to write up since it is talking about myself and not some abstract. So I decided to write the day four, I guess the past three days will come later because this caught my eyes.😳
Talking about my relationship life is one of a thing I love and hate most times but it sounds fun to do it when most people be like "Are you in a relationship"? and I will be like "No" and they will be like, "Are you seriously telling me that you are not in a relationship" and I say, "I am not, is there any problem with it"? These people tend to look at me as someone who is weird when I tell them my reasons for not being in a relationship yet but then we all see things differently but we still want the best for ourselves.
So I am single and not yet in a rush to add the tag of dating or taken. You will know why in my post below.
please don't judge me, I love my life and want to enjoy it to the fullest. I know true love exists and I most times feel happy and enticed when I see one, but then I just feel being in a relationship means commitment, submission, consideration, and the rest. I think I am not just yet ready for it. You think I am selfish, no wahala. But kudos to those in a relationship because relationships involve sacrifices and I don't think I am ready for that.
I tell you, being a single person is fun, yea I mean really fun.
My single life
Being a single helps me a lot to define my life the way I want it and how I want it to be.
As a single, I really do not have time for myself how much more for someone else. So the little time I have. I try to make good use of it for my own self and not try to involve someone else. In as much as I don't have time to spend with someone in a relationship, I create time for my girlfriends because they keep me going and give me vibes.
If you jam us, you will not leave without laughing. You will laugh until you start crying. We are always very mysterious.
Most times, people think we are the most serious people but if you check, we are planning mischief.
Being single helps me define and arrange my day anyhow I want without thinking of including someone else in my day. like I wake up and I make a list of how my day is, then I accomplish it the way I want it without having to squeeze my day for someone else.
my single life is one I don't want to be in a rush to leave because I decide to pick whoever calls I want to pick without anyone queering me or asking me why I didn't pick his call.
I go to where I want to go and come back when I decide to come back. I decide to pick who I want to see and who I don't intend to see. I see who I intend to see, I make my decisions myself without involving someone else's opinion.
As single, I don't get to have it in mind that I should be expecting his calls and as such, I don't have the time t have that couples fight why he did not call or why I did not call or why I did not pick his call. As a single, I don't have time to worry if he is cheating on me or not. I live my life as I own it
I don't have to depend on anyone for something, I manage my life by myself and since I am single, I have it registered that I don't have anyone to lean on for help and should learn to make good decisions that involve my finances so I don't have to spend all and save some also before the time for another comes.
My single life gives me the liberty to be an independent woman. Being a single person helps me think of how I can become a better person for myself.
