I had been set for the third batch regarding my dialysis session. Well it is the batch of patients with lung issues or have coughs so my session really is not a pleasant one. I am not comfortable being with people who coughs particularly if you will be subjected to be with them in a room for more than four hours.
Well as for dialysis patients the cough issues are always caused by fluids in the lungs because they are often not getting their ideal weight where they have no extra water in their system. So the extra water goes into the lungs causing the cough and not necessarily from other lung issues like pneumonia or TB.
But the bad part of having this schedule is that we have to pay a little extra because the hospital has to use alcohol and PPE's for the nurses for extra protection both for patients and the healthcare workers.
Now I have to endure this schedule for another two months because it was the pulmonary doctor who will decide or give me the clearance to put me in the earlier time slot. I will be seeing that doctor again after two months on my next check-up again for my Tuberculosis issue. So if my lungs are still showing the impression of a TB according to his opinion then I will get stuck to this schedule with coughing dialysis patients.
