My mom makes a lot of crochet, but she didn't use those balls, I will tell her, must be more practical with it. :)
Don't give up on it, it would be great to see full tree with these ornaments in December.
Mom also just watch tutorials but after some time she get into it so she can make some things on her own and don't need patterns. It's all about practice :)
