An interesting aspect about a Launchpad is, that it can show/light up the keys/buttons (and chords/harmonies) which are in the prefered musical scale - with this it's not possible to trigger tones which are out of scale. So a very interesting tools for creators who don't have musical education. To produce, jam or to improvise.
