Hello Dears!

Today I would like to join in the Monomad Challenge, a competition reserved to the monochromes photo launched by @monochromes. If you would like to know more about, visit @monochromes blog. Thank you @brumest and @monochromes for your efforts.

I took this photo last months, during the chestnuts time. I went to collect some of them during the day when we could still leave our homes to go in the nearby cities. I used that periods biking around and doing some walks in the wood. This year, thanks to the Sars-CoV2 pandemic, I took a few walks and I took fewer photos than the previous one. But the monomad challenge is a too great initiative to leave in the oblivion, so sometimes I choose some photos and decide to try my luck.

This time I centered my focus on the leaves in the autumn time. I created a black and white cover with strong contrast. I used some curve levels and a few vignetting. I hope you like the first result.

In a second time, I took the photo without the monochrome covers, using a color one with not so high contrast and not so much saturation. I turned off with a slight faded level to change the black point to a grey one. Not happy for the work, I decided to try joining in another contest edition, launched by @adalger: more info in the #amazingnature contest tag.
