I got to spend some time with my best friend and his family yesterday. His wife was processing some documents in the city and decided to drop by and hangout for a bit. They were with my godson and I was so happy to spend time with them again.
We usually play some mobile games whenever they come but our internet connection was effed-up yesterday, so no mobile games for us. I even struggled with my lessons or classes last night. Good thing my backup Internet was quite friendly and I was able to survive somehow, though I still had to cancel one class.
My main Internet is up and running again and hopefully it continues this way. I still chose not to open classes today, though. Guess I had to check whether my connection is class-ready again or not. I do have one class later since I already promised her to have it.
Anyway, I'm just watching some random TV series which I'll potentially review or write some reactions for in the coming days. I'm also trying to think of using my alt account again for my "otaku"-related posts.
I have been using the account @harulovesanime as my microblog account, but I haven't really been posting there these days. And I kind of miss writing stuff related to my "otaku" life which I want to be quite separated from this main blog. I'll be writing there soon, so please check them out when I do.
Anyway, would you care for some sandwich?
For the record, I'm not really the sandwich-type of person because RICE IS LIFE. However, I do enjoy having it from time to time. Well, this here is one of my favorite sandwiches. They're quite simple, though.
What's in my sandwich?
It's quite simple. We have some lettuce, chicken ham, cheese and some mayonnaise.
I love lettuce but they're usually pricey. However, when I went grocery shopping last time, I saw some cheap ones and I wondered why it was the case. When I looked at the tag, there was the sign "LOCAL" in it. So, I'm guessing it's locally produced? Its price is just around 30% of the usual price and it's as delicious. haha
It was my first time using chicken ham. I was looking for the usual cooked ham or spiced ham in the supermarket, but couldn't find the brand I like. So, I gave this baby a try and I found my new favorite.
Cheese and mayonnaise are a must in my sandwich. Well, cheese and ketchup is a good combination, too. Anyway, I'm a cheese-person, so I add cheese to most things and they become extra delish.
I just hope I bought some tomatoes, though. They would've been a great addition to this sandwich. I thought we still have some left at home, but welp... I though wrong. I'll be sure to get some next time.
So, how about you? How do you like your sandwich?

I just remembered this Filipino alternative rock band. They're called Sandwich and this was one of their hit songs. It's a chill and nostalgic song which would bring you back to the 80s and 90s here in the Philippines. Do any of my fellow Pinoys here remember this song? haha
