I know I'm a couple days late in posting this, but I'd still do it anyway. And yes, "SB19" is finally back after around a year of hiatus.
Well, I won't really say it's a hiatus since they were just busy with a lot of projects, concerts and guestings that they haven't really released something new for the past months. But we need to wait no more!!!

Last September 2, the P-pop group SB19 has released their latest song and music video on their Official YouTube channel. The song is called "WYAT" which is short for "Where you at?".
Before we delve into the song, let me introduce the members of the group. As seen above, we have:
- Stell - He's the main vocals. He has this really soothing and angelic voice that you won't get tired of listening to. Aside from that, he also choreographs most of their dances together with Ken.
- Josh - The group's visual. He's also the main rapper. He's my fave because he's just awe-inspiring. And he's also a gamer! <3
- Pablo - The leader of the group. He usually writes the group's song's lyrics. He's such a talented young man.
- Justin - He's the youngest member. He's really artistic and is so good at drawing. He also sometimes conceptualizes and directs their own music videos.
- Ken - He's the main dancer of the group. Aside from his amazing dance moves, I also love his low voice... he's also into anime like me. <3

It is sooo good and super different from their usual style. This just proves how versatile this group is.
The song and the music video is drowning me in nostalgia. It reminds me of the disco and retro music back in the 70s-80s and 90s. I'm a 90s baby, but during that time music from the previous decades were still really popular.

The transitions in the music video are amazing. I like how they try to change from one scene to another.

As expected from Pinuno (leader), her did another awesome job in writing the lyrics. The song is also produced by Pablo and his brother.
This is another thing that I like about SB19, they're pretty hands on in their songs and music videos. Despite belonging to a Korean entertainment company, they really did great in showcasing Filipino talent and heart in their music.
I mentioned earlier that their latest song has a very different vibe from their previous ones... Allow me to share another video for comparison. This song is called BAZINGA and it has topped the US Billboard Charts when it was released last year.

Bazinga's style of music has been described as "disruptive" in a sense that the song changes a lot. It's quite difficult to follow and sing along... (though I enjoyed singing this song, too... The rap part is like a tongue twister for me, though.. haha)
On the other hand, WYAT is very catchy and easy to sing along. It gives off the disco and retro feels.
"WHERE YOU AT"??? --- well, for SB19, they're busy preparing for their concert tour not only in the Philippines, but also abroad. I've read that they're going to Dubai, Singapore and the US soon.
