I have been quite busy with work and other stuff these days that it's becoming quite stressful. However, I'm doing my best to be OK. I need to keep myself sane and remain positive amidst the challenges.
I don't have any classes tonight, so I took out my sketchbook to do some scribbles and I ended up creating this.
You know that feeling when everything seems so dark but you get a glimpse of light... a small spark in the darkness... a tiny bit of hope.
When I look at the moon, I feel so relaxed as if I'm basking in its beauty making me feel positive all of a sudden. Surely there are times when we feel lonely when we look at the moon, but ironically, we also feel that we're not alone because somewhere someone is also looking at the same moon.
Before I become more dramatic, I'll just post some of the progress shots of this artwork here below.
Originally, I intended to end the artwork here, but I thought it would be nice to insert and excerpt of one of the poems I wrote in the past which is about the moon. And so, I did...
A faint glint of light bemused my eye
I saw the moon shining in the starless sky
Looking so elegant; bewitching orb full of grace

I don't know why but I'm just really fascinated by the moon's beauty. Well, you can call me a selenophile, I guess. I would love to see the beauty of the moon even more... it's just giving me the encouragement to move forward.
I feel much better now after creating this simple artwork. I used pencils, colored pencils and markers on my sketchbook in making it. I hope you like it, too. See you around! (^_^)/
