ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #22 - My DIY Projects [My DIY Projects I'm Proud of]

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 years ago (edited)

I failed to submit an entry for the challenge last week, so I decided to be early this time. And I might share some pictures that would have been a nice entry for last week's challenge. haha

The ASEAN Hive Community Challenge this time is about DIY projects. I sure have posted several DIY-related blogs in the past, so I'm going to take this chance for others to see my projects once again.

When it comes to DIY projects, I usually have my papa as my partner. We both love and enjoy creating different stuff for mama. Aren't we the sweetest? lol

This is a side table my papa and I made for mama. We placed it beside the sofa in our living room. Mama placed some of her books and other stuff on it and below is a small storage for things we use in the house like extra soap, detergent, lotions, etc.

Papa and I helped each other in building the table... though, most of the heavy and difficult part are done by him. Once everything's set, I take care of the painting part.

I squat when I paint our DIY project... (this should've been in the previous challenge. LOL)

Another DIY project we did was this condiment rack for mama.

As usual, I just assisted papa in creating it... but I designed this rack. <3 And of course, mama requested me to paint it, so here was the result.

Now, it's in our kitchen outside instead of the dining table since mama needs these stuff for cooking. It was a fun project, indeed!

Another squat moment while painting. hahah

This is one of my fave projects!!! My DIY door design. It took me half a day to finish this, but it was lots of fun. Papa and I were repainting the living room and other areas in the house that time when I decided to actually paint something cute on my door. It's my baby Shinsuke!

My DIY projects aren't limited to building and painting stuff. I also modify things like this baby's shirt which I made into my doggy's shirt.

I used to modify some clothes into costumes for cosplay in the past. I want to learn sewing using a sewing machine again. It's been ages since I last did it. Maybe if I get extra budget, I'll buy one for myself. That way, it'll be easier to not only modify but also make clothes from scratch.

There are more DIY projects I and papa made in the past, but these are some of my favorites. Papa and I have some planned projects but we're still looking for time and budget to buy materials and other tools. So hopefully, we'd be able to do it soon.

I'll end this post here. I hope you enjoyed it! :)

This gave me the idea to make my dog, Uku Chan T-shirt from the unused clothes that I have. Thank you for sharing this !PIZZA

No worries... :)
And yeah, we can always try and modify stuff into something else.
We could save and it would have a loving touch. haha

Wow! Your DIY is very useful in the house, your Mama really loves you are industrious.

Thanks... yeah, she really likes what papa and I make for her. We have some more projects on hold, we just need to find more time and prepare the materials. :D

Really cool projects, surely your Mama is the luckiest to have you both. The tray is also very handy with cool artwork. You are doing something great.

Thank you so much... Mama always spoils us with great food, so this is the least we could do. hahaha

I adore all of your DIY projects.

I now have some ideas from you about what to do. For a few days, I was only suffering from writers' block. It took me a long time to even write one post.

But after reading this, I assume I used to make a few DIY projects, especially regarding my clothes!

I appreciate you sharing.

Thank you very much for dropping by...

I'm glad that this post somehow helped you overcome your writer's block. It really does happen at times.

Enjoy!!!

I'll be grateful. It's incredibly helpful, however my mind is suddenly flooded with ideas.

My brain has been messing with me so much that I don't even know where to begin. 🤭🤭🤭

Hahaha... that's also a problem when you have to many ideas. You just don't know where to start. haha

sigh Isn't that right?

I must now take one step at a time. I've been missing a lot of hive contests. I just wanted to join them all but didn't know where to begin. I thought multi-tasking was my strength, but it appears that the mercury hasn't been cooperating with me these days.

You'll soon be able to join contests and write again. I still don't write regularly as I used to, but at least I'm trying to get some posts done at least a couple times a week. It'd be great to write daily again, though. ^^ Let's do our best! :D

Yes. We Can Do This💪...
Anyways, I have a question here;
I consider myself to be inexperienced and ignorant when it comes to hive. But, as I read the rules, they said only one topic per day, does that mean every post has to be done one day at a time or maybe 4 or 8 maybe 12 hours apart?
Is it considered SPAM if I make one post in Asean Hive Communities, one in Ladies On Hive, and one in Blockchain Poet? On the same day, but possibly 4 hours apart.

It's actually okay to do that, as long as there's some time apart. Though one to two posts a day would be ideal. 😁

I like your door design. Very cool!

Ohh! Thanks... it's one of my favorite anime characters. He's so cute, so I thought drawing him and seeing him every day would make me happy. :D

You're very good with a brush or roller in your hand. I love the hand-painted table, and nice bonus paint-squat too. Dog-o is ready for flight..

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this post... And thanks for the super cute doggy.. 😍🤩
