From lilies to roses to chard and strawberries. Red, as the color of love shines in all its facets. The currants (Ribiseln in Austrian language) are already ripe, the cherries will still need a few days.
Also the red lawn mower was again in use today, as you can see in the photos. At this time of year the lawn here has to be mowed once a week.
Nowadays, the red / rose-red is attributed to the girls and the blue / light blue the boys. In fact, in ancient times it used to be the other way around. Any king would never have dressed in blue. The red in our regions stood (and stands) for power. The Lady in Red also has power, doesn't she gentlemen? ;-)
When it comes to living or clothing, I never liked bright signal red very much, it makes me nervous and does not correspond visually at all to my taste.
But the dark red, the so-called wine red, I have always liked very much. It has always been one of my favorite colors. For me, the wine red radiates warmth and security.

Es ist immer wieder faszinierend, wie die Natur sich im Laufe eines Jahres verändert. Während im Frühling kaum rote Pflanzen oder Blüten zu sehen sind, so erstrahlt diese Farbe jetzt zum Sommerbeginn an allen Ecken.
Von Lilien über Rosen bis hin zum Mangold und den Erdbeeren. Rot, als die Farbe der Liebe erstrahlt in all ihren Facetten. Die Johannisbeeren (Ribiseln auf gut Österreichisch) sind schon reif, die Kirschen werden wohl noch ein paar Tage brauchen.
Ja und auch der rote Rasenmäher war heute wieder im Einsatz, wie ihr auf den Fotos sehen könnt. Zu dieser Jahreszeit muss der Rasen hier einmal die Woche gemäht werden.
Heutzutage wird das Rot/Rosarot ja eher den Mädchen zugeschrieben und das Blau/Hellblau den Jungen. Tatsächlich war es aber früher umgekehrt. Jeder König hätte sich niemals in Blau gekleidet. Das Rot stand (und steht) hierzulande für Macht. Auch die Lady in Red hat somit Macht, nicht wahr meine Herren? ;-)
Wenn es ums Wohnen oder Bekleidung geht, dann mochte ich helles Signalrot nie besonders gerne, das macht mich nervös und entspricht optisch ganz und gar nicht meinem Geschmack.
Aber das dunkle Rot, das sogenannte Weinrot, das hat mir immer schon sehr gut gefallen. War schon immer eine meiner Lieblingsfarben. Für mich strahlt das Weinrot Wärme und Geborgenheit aus.
Auf den Fotos oben seht ihr also, was ich heute alles in der Farbe Rot im Garten gefunden habe.
