Not to mention, the story and character development are fantastic! I'm only in the middle of the first season, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

I watched it on release and I thought it had similarities with Hbo's Rome.
Now that's one I haven't seen, but have heard about. If I have access to it, it'll be worth a watch once I finish this series!
