My first purchase of the year is a 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle, which I picked up for $530.79. As always, I’m documenting my stacking journey on Hive, in case you’re curious about the style and format of my precious‑metals posts.

2026 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin BU

2026 marks 250 years of American independence. It's our semiquincentennial! Coins minted this year carry extra historical weight for stackers, collectors, and investors. It makes a solid keepsake from a milestone year.

The 2026 release also marks 40 years of the American Gold Eagle series. It’s been the go‑to gold bullion coin since it launched in 1986. With both anniversaries happening at once, this year’s coin gets a nice boost in collectible appeal. It’s basically four decades of solid design and U.S. Mint craftsmanship.

I love those coins, just so pretty and much more affordable than the full one ounce! It's going to be interesting to see where gold goes this week pricewise post correction. But it makes buying gold much more affordable. Awesome addition to your stack!

Nice buy! Even with metals pulling back in the last few days, it's wild to see gold and silver bot at about 100x their face value. The fiat dollar is literally pennies on the dollar now. I suspect the up trend will resume, although it may be rocky for a bit.

Since you are listed as the issuer of LOH tokens, is there anything you can do you blacklist a certain spammer who is using unfunded token calls in comments as a spam tactic?
