A new week - a new challenge! The Splinterlands team once again decided to remember the old days and made the monster of the week Grumpy Dawarf, a great neutral сard, which appeared in the Beta edition and for a long time held the position of the best warrior for the second position.
I admittedly didn't swing my dwarf much, limiting it to the second level, but since I often take part in Guild Brawl I use this card a lot, and it's very good in Life or Earth decks at low levels and medium mana.
To be clear, I used it twice in the recent Guild Brawl, and both times it performed at its best.
Since the first fight was Healed Out and monsters couldn't heal, I chose Life, which has great shields, and chose the following fighters:
- SILVERSHIELD PALADIN on the first position, with good resistance to melee attacks;
- GRUMPY DWARF in the second position to enhance the attack on the enemy "tank";
- TRUTHSPEAKER and his Protect ability to compensate for the inability to heal;
- CAVE SLUG to attack the enemy's rear and archers;
- ARMORSMITH to restore shields;
- SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN for swift attack on the "rear".
At first I was frightened by the fact that the enemy used Scarred Llama Mage as a summoner, but the gnome and the assassin did a great job :)

In the second battle, with the Broken Arrows rule I decided to rely on the summoner ability Mylor Crowling, which gives my soldiers the ability to reflect the damage (Thorns) and chose the following alignment of forces:
- FLESH GOLEM with a lot of health and attack on the 1st position;
- GRUMPY DWARF in the second position to enhance the attack on the enemy "tank";
- GOBLIN THIEF for a spectacular attack on the enemy rear ;
- WOOD NYMPH to heal my tank (he doesn't have this ability at first level);
- SCREECHING VULTURE to attack weak enemy cards;
- DWARVEN WIZARD completes the combo, and attacks the enemy rear;
My opponent chose the Lorna Shine summoner very well, and it helped him a lot, but the Thorns ability worked in my favor, and I was pleased to see that GRUMPY DWARF had the last word in the game :)

Glad to share this experience and hopefully we will meet on the battlefields of Splinterlands.
